The streets of London are paved with crowds young and old
As you make your final journey in such elegance and style.
You were simply an amazing lady, with such Strength and Wisdom.
You held your family together in times of stress and woe.

For this we Salute you.

You kept your head together when the bombs were all around,
You gave hope to our wonderful nation with your presence and your sound.
God Bless you, Our Sweet Lady, you had such class and empathy.
No one was ever beneath you, you were always part of the crowd.

As they lay your resting body and the world weeps tears of pain,
We wish for you a place of love and kindness that will envelope you again,
May the Angels shower you with Love and hold you in their wings
You were simply loved by everyone, You were a wondrous human being.

We pray for your family in their time of sorrow,
Their pain must be so very hard
To lose such a wonderful person,
a Mother, Great-grandmother, Grandmother
A Friend to many.

Our hearts go out to all of you, and will remember you on this day.
May your own journey of healing be not that far away.
